Hi, my names Matthew Crawley.
I’m a passionate game designer focused on creating immersive, atmospheric, and engaging player experiences. I specialize in level design, gameplay systems, and playtest-driven iteration, with a particular interest in building worlds that encourage exploration, tension, and meaningful interaction—especially moody environments like snowy wastelands, abandoned spaces, and horror-inspired settings. I balance creativity with strong leadership and technical execution, designing intuitive yet challenging mechanics, AI behaviors, stealth systems, traversal, and interactive environments using Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprints. Through both solo and team projects, I’ve developed solid collaboration and organizational skills, guiding ideas from concept to polished prototype while keeping development focused and iterative.
